SAN FRANCISCO—Officials from the San Francisco Police Department have arrested two suspects in connection to a robbery and aggravated assault that occurred on October 14, 2018. The SFPD reported that the incident occurred at 3:22 a.m. on the 500 block of Howard Street, where the suspects stole a gold chain from a 31 year-old Pleasanton resident.

A 26 year-old male from Daly City suffered life threatening injuries as result of a gunshot wound to his torso. A 24 year-old female San Jose resident sustained non-life threatening injuries as result of a gunshot wound to her leg.

On Thursday, January 31, 2019, investigators from the SFPD’s Night Investigations Unit (NIU) served a search warrant on the 100 block of Preda Avenue in San Leandro.  The San Leandro Police Department SWAT Team assisted in the search warrant service.

The SFPD Night Investigations Unit started an investigation that culminated with the service of the search warrant in San Leandro, as well as search warrants on the 1100 block of Fairfax Avenue and the 200 block of Putnam Street in San Francisco on January 31. Two suspects were taken into custody.

Raul Artero, 26, of San Francisco was booked at San Francisco County Jail on charges of attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, robbery, conspiracy, committing a felony while released on a bail or own recognizance, carrying a loaded firearm with the intent to commit a felony, and carrying a loaded firearm in public.

Danny Nuualofa, 25, of San Francisco was booked into San Francisco County Jail on charges of attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, robbery, conspiracy, committing a felony while released on a bail or own recognizance and carrying a loaded firearm in public. The SFPD is not releasing booking photos due to pending identification matters.
