SAN FRANCISCO—On Sunday, June 23,  a San Francisco couple was arrested for trespassing and entering BART’s Trans-Bay Tube from the Embarcadero Station.

BART’s communication officer, Chris Filippi reported:

“Officers searched the tube and located the couple. Christopher James (36) and Susannah Berran (34) were placed under arrest and booked into jail for [interfering with a railroad operation].”

Officers began searching for the couple at around 9:46 p.m. and arrested them without resistance. There were no reports of any injuries, but a train was delayed for 10 to 15 minutes before operating again.

James was also arrested for separate charges relating to two outstanding warrants and possession of methamphetamine.
