SAN FRANCISCO—On Thursday, June 27, a 30-year-old pedestrian was struck by a car in the Yerba Buena neighborhood of San Francisco.
The call regarding the car crash occurred at around 1:53 a.m. at First and Howard Streets. The victim was struck by a car traveling west on Howard Street when the driver attempted to turn onto First Street. The victim was crossing southbound onto First Street when he was struck.
The victim was transferred to a hospital where he is being treated for a life-threatening head injury. No information regarding the identification of the victim or suspect has been released by authorities. The driver remained at the scene until authorities arrived, but was not arrested.
