HOLLYWOOD HILLS—The former host of the television game show “The Price Is Right” Bob Barker, suffered a crash at his home in the Hollywood Hills on Tuesday, June 18.
According to reports, the car was involved in a collision on the street. The impact sent the speeding car flying into the wall surrounding Barker’s home.
Barker’s two-story Spanish colonial, built in 1929 as a part of the “Outpost Estates” development, is located on the southwest corner of Hillside and Outpost. The accident transpired on the Outpost side of his property.
As one of the earliest luxury home developments in Los Angeles, the home was made a “Historic-Cultural Landmark” by the city of Los Angeles and given the name “The Outpost II” in 1999.
Barker, 95, was not at home during the incident. There were no reports of any injuries to pedestrians. Authorities reported severe damage to several cars and the perimeter wall of Barker’s home.
