SAN FRANCISCO—On March 20, the San Francisco Police Department reported that it completed a Drug Market Crackdown that led to more than 40 arrests.

The operation transpired at Market and Van Ness Streets during the early morning hours. A total of 41 people were arrested with 17 being booked in jail for drug related charges and outstanding warrants. Twenty-four individuals were cited for drug-related charges, including narcotics, drug paraphernalia, and loitering for drug activity.

Since Drug Market Agency Coordination Center (DMACC) launched there has been:

-6,752 arrests

-686 pounds of narcotics seized

-300 pounds of fentanyl seized
