SAN FRANCISCO—Four men killed in separate San Francisco shootings over 3 days have all been identified by authorities.

The first shooting occurred on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 5:14 p.m. on the 200 block of Golden Gate Avenue, authorities stated. San Francisco resident Laurice Barrett, 39, was shot north of the Civic Center near the Service Employees International Union. Barrett was pronounced dead at the hospital. Authorities reported that another man, 41, was hit during the shooting but survived his injuries.

SFPD Homicide Investigators commenced an investigation that led to the identity of the suspect. On December 30, 2016, at approximately 5:17 p.m. SFPD and Oakland PD officers located and arrested 29 year old, Stockton resident, Elian Abdallah in Oakland, CA. Abdallah was charged with murder and booked at the San Francisco County Jail. Due to pending identification matters, the subject’s photo will not be released at this time.

According to police, just over an hour after the Barrett shooting, 39-year-old Matthew Fiame was shot and killed. Fiame was shot on the 200 block of Valencia Street, outside the Burma Love restaurant, where he was also pronounced dead on the scene. Police are searching for a 35-year-old suspect in connection to Fiame’s killing.

On Sunday, January 1, 2017, two men were killed in separate shootings, one becoming San Francisco’s first reported homicide in the New Year. Ernesto Rosales, 21, died of a gunshot wound to the chest. The incident reportedly occurred around 2 a.m. on 26th and Shotwell Streets in the Mission District.

Mitchell Smith, 35, was found dead around 11:25 a.m. the same day at 3rd Street and Oakdale Avenue in the Bayview District police said. He died from a gunshot wound to the face.
