SAN FRANCISCO—On Monday, August 11, the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office disclosed in a press release that Gage Wynne, 32, of San Francisco
was charged in connection with human trafficking offenses.

He is scheduled to be arraigned on August 11, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. at the Hall of Justice in Department 10. He is currently in custody. The District Attorney’s Office will move to have the defendant detained pending trial because of the public safety risk he poses.

Wynne is charged with two counts of human trafficking (PC 236.1(b), two counts of pimping (PC 266h(a)), and two counts of pandering by procuring (PC 266i(i)).

According to court documents, Wynne was the subject of a human trafficking, pimping and pandering investigation by the San Francisco Police Department. Authorities identified numerous sex work advertisements in San Francisco and across the Bay Area, allegedly controlled by Wynne.

Before authorities started investigating Wynne, he was arrested by South San Francisco Police following an operation to rescue human trafficking victims. Allegedly, he was identified as the “boyfriend” of a victim whom he allegedly drove to a hotel to engage in sex work.

The SFPD is still investigating the case. Anyone with details should contact the Tip Line at 415-575-4444 or Text a Tip to TIP411 and begin the text message with SFPD.
