SAN FRANCISCO—The SFPD announced in a press release that a hot prowl burglary took place in San Francisco’s Tenderloin District on Wednesday, September 6 on the 400 block of Eddie Street.

Just before 11:00 p.m., the suspect entered the victim’s bedroom and stole currency, an identification card, and various other cards. When the victim woke up the next morning, he discovered that one of his bags was missing, which contained the stolen items.

The suspect has been described as an African-American female, approximately 50 years old. No arrests have been made, and police have not disclosed whether or not the suspect was armed or if they fled the scene of the crime in a vehicle.

No additional details about the incident has been disclosed by the SFPD.
