HOLLYWOOD—Whoa, whoa, that’s all I can say about the recent happenings on the CBS soap “The Bold and the Beautiful.” Who would have guessed a month ago that Ivy and Steffy would become buddies? Not me, it seems Aly’s death has indeed had a ripple effect on everyone at Forrester Creations, notably Ivy Forrester the most. This is a woman who was so serene and nice, but resorted to blackmail and developed a backbone to prove she is no pushover.
The chemistry between Wyatt and Ivy is great, but it looks like her chemistry with Thomas is just as strong. Wyatt is indeed in love with Ivy, and considering he has had his heart broken by Hope and Steffy, Ivy has been a saving grace for him. Well, I’m not so sure about that when he discovers that his girlfriend and Thomas have been busy canoodling underneath his nose. Thomas just doesn’t understand no, means no. One would think he would have learned his lesson after putting the moves on Caroline.
That relationship is still very rocky, not to mention the fact that Caroline and Ridge are keeping a whopper of a secret from Thomas: he is the father of her baby. Yep, Thomas is going to be a daddy and those playboy ways that have been causing waves at Forrester Creations will soon come to an abrupt end. I can already visualize the battle that will ensue between Caroline, Ridge and Thomas when the news breaks.
What will be even worse is when Thomas’ father discovers that his son has resulted in the fracture of another relationship because of his ego. To make matters worse, Steffy has stuck her nose into Thomas and Ivy’s business. Hmm, I don’t think this will bode well because it sure looks like Steffy and Wyatt are getting closer.
She might be engaged to Liam, but I can sense her attraction to Wyatt slowly growing. Wouldn’t it be great to see Liam see what it feels like to be cheated on? Can you imagine the fireworks if Liam blew the coup and unleashed a bit of anger towards those who have betrayed him?
So for all of you who have been sleeping under a rock, Nicole is now pregnant with Rick and Maya’s baby. Well, that relationship with her and Zende has immediately halted. It’s just a matter of time, before Rick and Maya become over eager parents watching Nicole’s every move.
For the moment, Maya and her parents have buried the hatchet, but I fear that was only because the holidays were upon us, expect plenty of fireworks in the coming weeks as Nicole’s pregnancy produces ups and downs for her burgeoning relationship with Zende. He’s cool and collective right now, but as time progresses it will be difficult for him to resist temptation.
While I thought the drama for November sweeps was slightly dull on “The Bold and the Beautiful” it looks like December is going to be a lot hotter than fans expected. “The Bold and the Beautiful” airs weekdays at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
