The San Francisco Police Department announced on May 31, 2026, at approximately 1:48 a.m., officers responded to the 400 block of Castro Street regarding a solo vehicle collision into a building. When officers arrived on scene, they spotted a sedan that was left at the scene.
During a preliminary investigation, officers learned that the vehicle collided into two different parklets on the 400 block of Castro Street and then drove into a business, where the vehicle came to a stop.
