SAN FRANCISCO—On Friday, June 5, Lizzo released her new album, “Bitch.” On Saturday, June 6, she kicked off her promotional tour with autograph signing at Haight-Ashbury’s Amoeba Music.
On Saturday she performed at a private star-studded corporate gig in San Francisco Giants’ Oracle Park for the biotechnology company, Genentech, headlining with The Killers, Benson Boone and Ludacris.
She made an unexpected visit to the Castro’s The Lookout, a popular LGBTQAI+ venue, located on 16th Street and Market Street. In the midst of The Lookout’s “Thicc: 30” drag event, she surprised fans by paying to buy everyone at the bar shots and mingling with customers.
