SAN FRANCISCO—The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency released a weekend transit and traffic advisory alerting San Francisco drivers of multiple lane closures, planned ahead of the upcoming Colossal Clusterfest. The Colosal Clusterfest, a three-day event spanning from Friday, June 2 to Sunday, June 4 will take place in Civil Center Plaza.

The popular event featuring famous comedians like Jerry Seinfield, Kevin Hart and music celebrities like Vince Staples, is expected to draw big crowds. City authorities planning ahead of the event have pinned down specific lanes to close to ensure traffic-free movement for the fest-goers.

According to SFMTA’s press release, Grove Street between Polk and Larkin Streets as well as Fulton Street between Larkin and Hyde Streets shall remain closed from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m, from May 29 to Wednesday, June 7. The southbound traffic lane on Larkin Street will remain closed from 6 a.m. to 8p.m., from May 31 to Tuesday, June 6.

Grove Street between Larkin and Hyde Streets will remain closed from 6 a.m. June 1 to 6 a.m. on Tuesday, June 6.

Larkin Street between Hayes and McAllister Streets, Polk Street between Hayes and McAllister Streets and Grove Street between Van Ness Avenue and Polk Street will remain closed from 8 p.m. June 1 to 6 a.m. on Monday, June 5.

According to the SFMTA, the 19 Polk Muni route will be affected.
