SAN FRANCISCO—The San Francisco Police Department has revealed that several suspects have been apprehended for their involvement in a Mid-Market robbery that transpired near a Muni Bus stop. On September 13, at approximately 5:20 p.m., foot patrol officers from the San Francisco Police Department assigned to the Mid-Market corridor were flagged down regarding a robbery that just occurred.

Two victims who were standing at a bus stop, where confronted by the suspect who demanded their property. That suspect went through one of the victim’s pockets before a group of suspects later assisted the other suspect. Both victims were assaulted by the suspects during the robbery.

According to a press release from the SFPD, officers broadcasted a description of the suspects. Additional officers assigned to the Mid-Market foot beat detained all the suspects at 9th Street and Market Street who were positively identified as the parties involved and placed under arrest.

Carlos Rodriguez was arrested for his role in the robbery of two people near a bus stop in the Mid-Market region.

Individuals arrested in connection to the robbery included: Carlos Rodriguez, 19, of Hayward, and was booked at San Francisco County Jail on charges of attempted robbery and conspiracy; Quincy Garcia, 18, of Hayward was booked at San Francisco County Jail on charges of attempted robbery and conspiracy.

A 16 year-old juvenile male of Hayward was booked at the Juvenile Justice Center on charges of attempted robbery, conspiracy and criminal threats. Two 15 year-old juvenile males, both residents of Hayward were also booked at the Juvenile Justice Center on charges of attempted robbery and conspiracy.
