HOLLYWOOD—Actor Patrick Dempsey and his wife, Jill Fink, are getting a divorce after 15 years of marriage.
“It is with careful consideration and mutual respect that we have decided to end our marriage,” the couple released in a joint statement. “Our primary concern remains the well being of our children, and we ask with profound gratitude that you respect our family’s privacy at this very sensitive time.”
According to reports, Fink was first to file for divorce. She is seeking to receive spousal and child support after the divorce is finalized.
Dempsey and Fink tied the knot in 1999. They are parents to Tallulah Fyfe, 12, and their 7-year-old twins Sullivan Patrick and Darby Galen. Dempsey is known for his work on the ABC show “Grey’s Anatomy.”
