SFPD Assault Suspect

SAN FRANCISCO—The San Francisco Police Department has released a sketch of a suspect involved in a sexual assault incident that occurred on July 30, 2013. The incident in question occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m., but was not reported to police until October 7, according to a press release from the SFPD website.

The incident occurred in the area of California  Street and 30th Avenue where the victim was walking when a vehicle driven by the suspect approached her. The suspect initiated conversation with the victim and asked for directions to the Legion of Honor.  According to police, the suspect asked the victim to get into his vehicle and direct him to the location.  He drove to a dead end on El Camino Del Mar, near the Legion of Honor, locked the car doors and sexually assaulted the victim.

The suspect is described as a white male, 25-28 years old, 5 foot 8 inches, 170 pounds with a light complexion, wide nose and he was wearing a blue t-shirt and blue jeans.  Anyone with information on the incident on the suspect is asking to contact the SFPD Anonymous Tip Line at 415-575-4444 or text either TIP411 or 847411.
