SAN FRANCISCO—Officers from the San Francisco Police Department Tenderloin Station made a total of 60 drug arrests.

On Monday, December 3, authorities seized an large amount of drugs from streets in the Tenderloin District.  The SFPD reported they arrested Rodney London, 56, of San Francisco. The San Francisco Police Department confirmed to San Francisco News that London was arrested at 11:52 a.m. on Turk and Hyde Streets. Officers confiscated 429 bindles of cocaine, heroin, and meth that was all concealed in socks.  The drugs were seized before London had a chance to sell them on the street.

On Monday, Mayor London Breed visited the San Francisco Police Department’s 264th recruit class to talk about safety in San Francisco.  She stated in a tweet that she “fought to include funding in the budget” so that San Francisco can train more officers to help make the city safer and provide more officers patrolling the areas in neighborhoods.
