SAN FRANCISCO—On Friday, November 10, the San Francisco Police Department announced that a suspect was arrested for a deadly stabbing that occurred back in October 2023. The SFPD reported at 10:35 a.m. on October 24, officers responded to the region of Eddy and Taylor Streets about a stabbing.

Officers found an adult male suffering from a possible stab wound. Officers rendered aid and summoned medics to the scene, who took the victim to a local hospital for life-threatening injuries. The victim later died on October 28. The name and age of the victim has not been disclosed to the public.

Investigators from the San Francisco Police Department General Work Detail followed up on the stabbing investigation and released a crime bulletin of the suspect. After the victim died from his injuries, the SFPD Homicide Detail took over the investigation.

On November 3, at approximately 12:05 p.m. an SFPD officer assigned to the Tenderloin District was on the 100 block of Eddy St. The officer who was off duty, spotted the suspect from the picture on the crime bulletin, who was identified as Ronnie Randle, 38, and he was arrested without incident.

He was booked into San Francisco County Jail for 187 PC (homicide), possession of narcotics-related charges (11370.1(a)HS, 11351.5 HS), and possession of firearm-related charges as a convicted felon (25400(a)(2)PC, 25850(c)(1)PC, 25850(a)PC, 25400(c)(1)PC, 29900(a)(1)PC.
