SAN FRANCISCO—The San Francisco Police Department has arrested a suspect in connected to a sexual assault that occurred on January 8. The victim was a dependent adult with special needs who was unable to properly defended her self. Officials from the San Francisco Police Department’s Special Victim’s Unit was notified about the incident

Members from the Special Victims Unit launched an investigation and using modern forensic technology they were able to find evidence to identify the suspect, Gabriel Carcamo, 39, who  was visiting the household where the victim was staying for the day. The name of the victim has not yet been disclosed by authorities.

Carcamo was booked at the San Francisco County Jail for misdemeanor and felony charges including rape of a person incapable of giving legal consent.
