SAN FRANCISCO—On March 13, the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office disclosed in a press release that Santos Adan Ochoa-Carcamo, 32, was charged with multiple felonies in connection with narcotics trafficking in the Mission District with a juvenile. He was arraigned on March 12, 2025, and pleaded not guilty to all charges and denied all allegations.
Ochoa-Carcamo is charged with two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance with a firearm (H&S 11370.1(a)), two counts of solicitation of a minor to use or sell a narcotic (H&S 11353(b)), two counts of possession for sale of controlled substances (H&S 11351), three counts of transportation, sale and giving away a controlled substance (H&S 11379(a)), and one count of transportation, sale and giving away a controlled substance (H&S 11352(a)).
The criminal complaint also alleges that the defendant possessed a substance containing more than one ounce of fentanyl (H&S 11370.4(c)(1)(A)) and that he was armed with a firearm (PC 12022(c)).
According to court documents, on January 21, an undercover officer with the San Francisco Police Department allegedly purchased a small quantity of methamphetamine from the defendant near the El Capitan Hotel on the 2300 block of Mission Street and arranged to purchase more drugs at a later time.
On February 5, undercover officers with the SFPD allegedly purchased one ounce of methamphetamine from Ochoa-Carcamo and a juvenile. On March 3, the defendant allegedly sold more drugs to an undercover officer. On March 6, officers executed a search warrant at his residence and the juvenile’s residence and found a loaded handgun, a digital scale, packaging materials, 45.4 grams of fentanyl, 17.4 grams of cocaine and over $10,000 in US currency.
The next court date for the defendant is April 16, for a prehearing conference. The District Attorney’s Office moved to have him detained pending trial because of the public safety risk he poses. Ochoa-Carcamo was released on bail and the court will rule on the motion to detain at his next scheduled court date.
