SAN FRANCISCO—On Sunday, April 13, the San Francisco Fire Department reported that a cliff rescue happened on Saturday, April 12 at 8:30 p.m. at Marshall’s Beach Cliff.
Officials responded to a stranded hiker at the bottom of a cliff near Marshalls Beach. A full cliff Rescue was dispatched and arrived on scene. Crews located the victim, as the victim’s phone ran out of battery.
The California Highway Patrol of Golden Gate arrived on scene with a helicopter to provide support. Cliff Rescue 14 and Rescue Squad 1 started the technical Rescue to help the stranded hiker. Crews on scene successfully rescued the victim, no injuries or medical complaints.
