SAN FRANCISCO—The San Francisco International Airport’s free parking will go back to its original time frame after providing customers with additional time.

The SFO wants to reduce backup outside the terminals where individuals get picked up and dropped off. The airport allowed motorists a free 30-minute time limit in the parking structure.

According to KCBS Radio, SFO spokesperson Doug Yakel said, “This program did not really make that much of a difference.”

The 30-minute free parking limit has been changed to 10 minutes. The new parking limit will go into effect on October 1.
