SAN FRANCISCO—On Monday, March 2, the SFPD reported they are investigating a homicide that transpired in the Northern District. Authorities reported that at 3:44 a.m. officers responded to the 600 block of Larch Alley regarding a shooting.

Officers arrived on scene and found an adult male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Officers provided aid, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Medics arrived on scene and transported the victim to the hospital for life-threatening injuries, where he was pronounced dead. The name and age of the victim has not yet been disclosed to the public. SFPD Homicide Detail responded to the scene and are leading this investigation.
