SAN FRANCISCO—A stabbing of a man in the Polk Gulch neighborhood ended with the death of a resident on Friday, August 16.

The stabbing transpired near Fern Street and Van Ness Avenue. The victim was a 42-year-old man, whose name has not been disclosed to the public. At around 3:40 a.m., the victim was found with multiple stab wounds and paramedics were called. 

Paramedics transported the victim to the hospital where he later died from injuries sustained. 

Fern Street is technically an alley that runs four blocks between Sutter Street and Bush Street. 

The San Francisco Police Department do not have any suspects in the case. Anyone with information on the stabbing is asked to contact the SFPD.
