SAN FRANCISCO—Authorities from the San Francisco Police Department arrested two suspects connected to the murder of Daniel Beltran, 19 years old who was fatally shot on July 22. The shooting occurred on the 100 block of 6th Street in the Southern Police District at around 5:11 a.m. Officers responded to a 911 call of someone hurt in the area of 6th Street and Minna Alley.

Friends of the victim transported him to San Francisco General Hospital where he later died. Investigators determined that the shooting had took place in the lobby of a building on the 100 block of 6th Street. Darius York, 34, and Joseph Young, 33, both residents of SF, were taken into custody by police in connection to the homicide.

The suspects were arrested in Freemont at 11 p.m. and are facing both murder and conspiracy charges. They were booked into the County Jail on July 23. Authorities have not yet released booking photos for the suspects as the case is still under investigation.
