JJ Redick

LOS ANGELES—On Wednesday, July 3, the Los Angeles Clippers were involved in a three-team trade with the Phoenix Suns and Milwaukee Bucks. The trade sent Clippers Caron Butler and Eric Bledsoe to the Suns. JJ Redick and Jared Dudley both were sent toLos Angeles.

Redick is expected to sign a four-year $27 million deal with Los Angeles. The Bucks will receive two second-round picks in the trade one from the Clippers and one from the Phoenix Suns.

The Clippers needed the addition of a good shooting guard to pair up alongside Chris Paul. Paul also agreed to re-sign withLos Angeles, because of their talent filled roster that wants to compete for a championship now. The Bucks acquired Redick from Orlando just before the February trade deadline, but decided not to re-sign him. Redick averaged career best 14.1 points per game last season.

Bledsoe is important to the Suns in the first trade their new general manager Ryan McDonugh engineered. He’s been highly coveted and productive for the Clippers in his three seasons with ball club. He averaged 8.5 points and 3.1 assists for Los Angeles.
