BEVERLY HILLS—My name is “Dolly”, and could it be that I have that name because everyone calls me a little doll? One of the first things that attracts people is my under bite, which they say is very cute, and puts a smile on everyone’s face. Then they want to pet my soft, shiny coat, which they say has very pretty markings. After that they comment on my eyes, which they say are big and bright.
With all of those compliments how could I not feel good about myself? You see, I was feeling quite sad, as my people were moving and said that they couldn’t take me with them. I had no idea what was going to happen to me. But, WOW! I was given such a welcome at the Friends of Animals Foundation that there was no way that I could feel sad any more.
I’m a Tibetan Spaniel/Pekinese mix about three years old. I’m not one bit aggressive. I get along with other dogs, and children, too. And, oh, yes, I’m already housetrained! So, do I sound like I would be a good addition to your family? I’m sure that there is someone out there for me, and, also, for all of my doggy and kitty friends that are here.
