SAN FRANCISCO—A woman has been arrested by officers from the San Francisco Police Department on suspicion of beating a man to death over a slice of pizza in the south of market neighborhood.

The suspect has been identified as Jamila Moore, 39, of San Francisco who allegedly murdered Harvey Grosser, 65, by hitting him with a metal cane. Grosser died shortly after midnight on September 6, where he was found laying on the ground, suffering from a skull fracture. San Francisco Fire Department paramedics responded and rendered aid, but Grosser succumbed to his injuries at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital.

Surveillance video showed Moore talking to Grosser on Sixth Street. According to reports, both were arguing over a slice of pizza before Grosser was struck.

Police arrested Moore in Stockton on October 23. She was booked at the San Francisco County Jail on suspicion of murder and inflicting injury on an elder.
