SAN FRANCISCO—Angelo Zamora, 20, was arrested for murder and local traffic warrants, according to a press release from the San Francisco Police Department. The victim was Marlene “Maria” Zamora, 65.

Marlene Zamora was unconscious and not breathing when the police responded to a report of a possible stabbing on Friday, May 6 at 10:54 a.m on the 400 block of Arkansas Street. Aid was given immediately to Marlene Zamora, but she was pronounced dead at the scene. Evidence found during the investigation pointed the police to Angelo Zamora.

This is the fourth homicide the San Francisco News has reported this year. There was a stabbing resulting in homicide in the Tenderloin District in April. In February there was a double homicide at the Twin Peaks lookout and a homicide during a robbery of a UK man.
