HOLLYWOOD—On Thursday, November 12, Daniel Radcliffe will receive the 2,565th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame confirmed the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.

The “Harry Potter” star will be honored in the category of Motion Pictures at 11:30 a.m. in front of the Dolby Theatre located at 6801 Hollywood Boulevard.

President/CEO of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, Leron Gubier will emcee the dedication with guest speakers including, director Chris Columbus and comedian Chris Hardwick.

“Fans of all ages have been waiting in anticipation of Daniel’s star ceremony. They are constantly asking when it will happen. Finally, we have him here in Hollywood, and we are proud to dedicate his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame,” said producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremonies, Anna Martinez.

After completing the eighth and final installment of “Harry Potter” in 2010, Radcliffe starred in a sold out 10-month run of the Broadway musical “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” in 2011.

By 2012, he starred in the British horror film “The Woman In Black,” the same year he was voted as Entertainment Weekly’s “Entertainer of The Year.”

Radcliffe currently stars in “Victor,” a 20th Century Fox sci-fi horror film set to release worldwide on November 25 featuring James McAvoy. Lionsgate’s “Now You See Me: The Second Act” will be his next feature film in June 2016.

He is also known for his philanthropic work for The Trevor Project, the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services for LGBT youth. As a spokesperson for The Trevor Project, Radcliffe has recorded several PSAs, met with their volunteers, and participated in training with the Trevor Youth Advisory Council. His activism ultimately landed him the Trevor Hero Award.
