BEVERLY HILLS—On Saturday, November 23, restauranteur, CEO and Founder of Pink Taco, Harry Morton, 38, was found unconscious by his brother Matthew Morton inside a home on the 500 block of Haynes Avenue in Beverly Hills, TMZ first reported.

Harry was later pronounced dead by paramedics who arrived on the scene. The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office confirmed Morton’s death later in the afternoon.

Harry became a founder of Pink Taco at the age of 18. In 1999, he opened the first Pink Taco restaurant in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the Hard Rock Casino & Hotel. Other Pink Taco establishments are located in Century City, Chicago and Boston, amongst other cities.
Morton was previously the former owner of the Viper Room nightclub in West Hollywood.

Morton’s Father, Peter Morton, is the co-founder of the Hard Rock Café and Hotels, his mother Pauline Stone, was a former British Model, and Vogue Cover Girl. Harry has two stepsisters, Sophie Harvey and Domingo Harvey. Domingo passed away on June 27, 2005, from an accidental overdose. Arnold Arnie Morton, Harry’s grandfather is the co-founder of Morton’s Steakhouse.

Harry previously dated actresses Lindsay Lohan, Jennifer Aniston, Demi Moore, Britney Spears and Paris Hilton. He had a net worth of $300 million. He recently purchased the Beverly Hills property once owned by Elvis Presley for more than $25 million, the Los Angeles Times reported.

The exact cause of Mr. Morton’s death is still under investigation, but the Beverly Hills Police Department does not suspect any foul play. Morton’s death will be determined after an autopsy is performed.
