SAN FRANCISCO—A human skull and bones were found underneath a dry cleaners’ business on the 1900 block of Fillmore Street. The San Francisco Police Department is looking into the investigation as a suspicious death.

On Friday, April 1 the dry cleaners hired general contractors to fix plumbing issues, according to an email Officer Grace Gatpandan sent the San Francisco News. While digging underneath the building the contractors discovered a human skull and human bones.

The contactors immediately stopped working on the plumbing issue and made a call to the police department. Once the SFPD Homicide Detail arrived on the scene they took over the investigation. At the moment no details have been released to the public about the human remains or why they were buried underneath the dry cleaners’ building.
