SAN FRANCISCO—The San Francisco Police Department are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on October 7. The SFPD indicated at approximately 1:58 a.m., officers responded to the area of 18th and Mission Streets on a report of a shooting.
When officers arrived on the scene, they located an adult male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Officers provided aid and summoned paramedics to the scene, who transported the victim to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he later died. The name and age of the victim has not been disclosed to the public. No arrests have been made in the case.
