HOLLYWOOD—Neil Patrick Harris, the star of CBS’ comedy “How I Met Your Mother,” will be hosting this year’s Tony Awards and Primetime Emmy Awards.

The 39-year-old actor hosted the Primetime Emmys when it last aired on CBS in 2009. Harris himself has won several Primetime Emmy Awards which include one for his guest appearance on the Fox show “Glee” and two more for his previous stints as host of the annual Tony Awards. The Primetime Emmy Awards is scheduled to air on CBS on Sunday, September 22.

The 67th Annual Tony Awards will air on CBS on Sunday, June 9. This will be Harris’ fourth time hosting the annual award show. In the past, the actor has used catchy dance numbers and singing to attract the audience and fans are looking forward to what he will bring to this year’s big award show.
