SAN FRANCISCO—On Thursday, June 12, the San Franisco Fire Department reported they battled a one-alarm fire shortly after 5 p.m. in the city’s Tenderloin District.

Units arrived to find arcing in a utility area of the building and fire extended into a store adjacent to the fire area.

Several people were assisted down the fire escape of the multiple unit apartment building. There were no reports of any injuries, and the fire was extinguished within one hour. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
