SAN FRANCISCO—Authorities have arrested a suspect in connection to the assault of a homeless person that was caught on video.  According to a press release from the San Francisco Police Department, on November 11 an assault took place in the areas of Third and Bryant Streets at 4:43 a.m.

KTVU Channel 2 aired footage of the assault taking place and an investigation began where authorities were able to identify the suspect and victim involved.

The suspect, Timothy Chase, 28, was located and detained in Oakland and later arrested on Friday, November 15. He was charged with seven counts of aggravated assault with force likely to produce great bodily injury. The SFPD has not yet released a photo of the suspect because of pending identification issues.
