SAN FRANCISCO—The popular San Francisco-based coffee chain, Linea, opened a new cafe on Potrero Hill on August 7, and will be open for takeout with socially distanced lines.
Linea’s new location is located within a 5000 square-foot roasting facility in Portrero Hill. The menu will be identical to their original location in the Mission District, which opened in April 2019. They offer a classic lineup of espresso drinks, brewed coffee, and cold brew, plus baked goods from Neighbor Bakehouse and Dynamo Donuts.
Originally, the location in Portrero Hill was a roastery for the Mission District location, as well as a space to train employees and wholesale clients. Owner Barnett recently acquired a permit to sell coffee from that location, mostly motivated by demand from the pandemic.
Over the next few weeks, owner Barnett also plans to start selling other goods, such as coffee grounds, coffee grinders, scales, brewers, etc.
