SAN FRANCISCO—On Tuesday, August 12, the San Francisco Fire Department reported a male had to be rescued from a cliff.

The incident was reported at 2:01 p.m. when the U.S. Park Police requested help following a report of an adult male who slid down a cliff.

The San Francisco Fire Department made visual confirmation of the victim, who was located approximately 50 feet from the tree line behind the Legion of Honor.

The SFFD successfully rescued the male, who was later assessed by the SFFD Emergency Medical Services (SFFDEMS) and determined not to require transportation to a hospital. No additional details about the incident have been disclosed to the public.
