SAN FRANCISCO—The San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) arrested a man suspected of killing Justin Valdez, a San Francisco State University (SFSU) student, on September 23. Nikhom Thephakaysone, 30, was arrested at his home on September 24.
Surveillance video showsValdez, 20, getting shot from behind after getting off an eastbound M-Ocean View Muni train at the corner of Randolph and Bright Streets around 9:50 p.m., according to Sgt. Danielle Newman.
