SAN FRANCISCO—On Sunday, December 9, the San Francisco Police Department arrested suspects in connection to a homicide on Brussels St. Two people were found  suffering from serious injuries on the 900 block of Brussels St. The female victim was treated with injuries survived she  sustained, but the male victim died from his injuries while being treated at San Francisco General Hospital.

The police investigators have determined this was not a random act because the victims and suspects knew one another and have relationships. The police investigation led authorities to a resident  in Hercules,CA.  The suspects were brought into the Hall of Justice for questioning. During this investigation, the evidence led to the arrest of five individuals in connection with this homicide. These suspects were booked into county jail in the early morning hours of Tuesday, December 12.

The two suspects that were charged with murder are Maelene Lintz, 32, of San Francisco and Montrail Brackens, 21, of Oakland. The other three suspects:  Tyler Miller, 19, of Hercules and Heather Leach, 24, of Hercules, and Maryann Manalastas, 22, of Oakland were charged with accessory to murder.
