SAN FRANCISCO—On Thursday, November 12, the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) announced that two suspects were arrested after a kidnapping, shooting and armed robbery transpired in the Tenderloin neighborhood on October 31.

The incident occurred at approximately 9:12 a.m. when a 26-year-old male reported to Bayview Station officers that he was attacked and robbed after two people pointed a firearm at him. He was ordered to get inside their vehicle on Hyde and Turk Streets, the SFPD noted.

The suspects discharged the firearm shooting the victim and continued to hit him during a physical struggle. The SFPD noted that the suspects transported the victim to Bayshore Boulevard and Marin Street and fled after they took the victim’s clothing, cell phone and wallet with cash.

The SFPD noted on their social media platforms, officers requested emergency medical services to transport the victim to a local hospital after observing the victim was bound by his hands and suffering from a gunshot wound to his hand.

The SFPD Robbery Detail commenced an investigation, that determined that Trearl Malone, 44, of Oakland and Rosohn Brooke, 44, of San Francisco were involved in the attack.

Officers obtained warrants for both Malone and Brooks who were arrested and charged with robbery, kidnapping to commit robbery, assault with a deadly weapon and conspiracy.

On Monday, November 9, at approximately 3:30 p.m., Brooks was arrested on Mendell Avenue and Oakdale Avenue and booked at the San Francisco County Jail. Malone was already in custody in Alameda County on an unrelated matter, facing new charges.
