Investigators from SFPD’s Special Victims Unit immediately began an extensive search for San Francisco resident, John Stoich, due to medical reasons, authorities said.
Stoich was reported missing after failing to show up at work on January 24.
Stoich’s family and police launched an extensive search of Golden Gate Park in order to locate him over the week. The initial search did not yield any results.

Stoich received emergency services, and was transported to a local medical facility for evaluation were he was reunited with his family, police said.
SFPD has not released the nature of Stoich’s medical condition that prompted an immediate investigation, or where Stoich disappeared for the past week.
