SAN FRANCISCO—Just before 8:00 p.m. in the evening, the San Francisco Fire Department received a one-fire alarm at the rear of the fourth-floor interior of a small apartment complex on 419 Hyde Street at the 400 block of Hyde Street, near the intersection of Hyde Street and O’Farrell Street, located in Little Saigon neighborhood of the Tenderloin District.

During and in the aftermath of the fire, commuters in the neighborhood were warned away from Hyde Street between O’Farrell Street and Ellis Street via San Francisco Fire Department’s social media channels.

There were no injuries reported at the scene, but six residents were left homeless because of the fire.

According to a video shown on the San Francisco Fire Department’s social media channels, there were at least four fire engines and other emergency vehicles at the scene. An orange glow was seen emitting from a fourth-story window. Currently, there has been no known cause in connection to the fire; it is still under investigation.
