SAN FRANCISCO—Officers from the San Francisco Police Department have arrested a suspect in connection to a homicide that occurred on October 24. According to a press release from the SFPD, the incident occurred at approximately 1:34 p.m. officers responded to a report of a shooting at a home on the 100 block of Addison Street.

After arriving on the scene, officers discovered a male victim in his 40s suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was treated by San Francisco Fire Department Paramedics who declared the victim deceased on the scene. The name of the victim has not yet been disclosed to the public.

Kevin Epps, 48, of San Francisco was arrested and booked at San Francisco County Jail on charges of homicide and a felon in possession of a firearm.
