SAN FRANCISCO—A 15-year-old girl was knocked unconscious on Tuesday, July 9, in the restroom of the Westfield San Francisco Mall. The victim was reportedly followed into the restroom by another female who proceeded to shove the victim. The victim hit her head on a wall and was knocked unconscious. The suspect then stole the young teen’s cell phone.
The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital where she was treated for head and face trauma. Police reported that although she is in serious condition, the injuries are not life-threatening.
Police are now searching for the suspect and ask anyone with any information to contact the police department’s anonymous tip line at 415-575-4444.
