My name is “Charlie”, and I notice that some people do a double take when I’m out walking.  I’ve heard remarks that I’m a big, handsome boy, so maybe that’s why.  The volunteers love to take me for walks because I have excellent leash manners.  I have to admit that every once in a while I’ll stop to roll on my back in the grass, but no one seems to mind that.  They know that it feels so good, and it puts a big smile on my face.  And, on their face, too!

Im very low maintenance, as I have a very short coat, so there’s no hair to get tangled if I’m not brushed.  I love people, but I’m best as the only pet in the family.  Then I can have your undivided attention, right?  I sure hope that you will come to see me!

Did you know: According to the American Pet Products Association,  pet spending in 2011 was $50.96 billion!  It is estimated at $52.90 billion for 2012.  That amount, broken down for the year 2012, in billions, is: food $20.46, supplies/OTC medicine $12.56, veterinary care $13.59, live animal purchases $2.15, pet services $4.11.  We do love our pets, and in the majority of cases, treat them as one of the family.  Which is how it should be in all cases.

“Charlie” would love to meet you, as would all of our other wonderful dogs and cats.  Just check our website at: foafla.petfinder.com and give a call to make an appointment to see the one or ones that you would like to meet.  They’re all waiting!
