SAN FRANCISCO—A stabbing took place in San Francisco’s Tenderloin District on Wednesday, September 8 at approximately 12:40 a.m. on the 300 block of Ellis Street, according to a Daily Recap from Officer Robert Rueca of the SFPD Media Relations Department.

The SFPD disclosed that the suspect arrived at the victim’s apartment, allegedly planning to steal several items. The victim proceeded to dial 911, when he was stabbed in the shoulder by the suspect, who later fled the scene directly after.

The victim was transported to the hospital and treated for non-fatal injuries. No items were reported stolen. The name of the victim has not bee disclosed to the public. No arrests have been made in the case. The suspect has been described as an African-American female around the age of 30.
