SAN FRANCISCO—The San Francisco Police Department announced on Friday, September 26, 2025, that a $50,000 reward is being offered for information related to a Mission District homicide.
The SFPD reported on August 5, 2024, at approximately 5:02 a.m., officers responded to the area of 20th and Shotwell Streets on a report of a physical assault involving a firearm.
Officers arrived on scene and located Keith Albert, 32, a wheelchair bound San Francisco resident suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers and medics rendered aid, but despite life-saving efforts, the victim died at the scene.
The SFPD Homicide Detail is leading the investigation and authorized a $50,000 reward for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the homicide of Keith Albert. This is an open and active investigation.
