SAN FRANCISCO—On Monday, August 17, the San Francisco Fire Department rescued a dog near Dead Man’s Point. Officials responded at 2:10 p.m. after learning that a dog had gone over the cliff near El Camino del Mar at the landmark Dead Man’s Point.

The cliff rescue team and Rescue Squad quickly set up a rope system and safely brought the pup back up. No injuries were reported, and the dog was happily reunited with their owner.
