SAN FRANCISCO—In a press release from SFPD Public Information Officer Robert Rueca on Wednesday, October 4, the SFPD detailed a hot prowl burglary which took place in San Francisco’s Ingleside District on Tuesday, October 3.

At approximately 12:30 p.m., on the 200 block Avalon Avenue, a man heard footsteps coming from the upper floor of his home. When he went upstairs, he noticed a man holding multiple unspecified objects, which he then dropped and fled from the residence.

The suspect is an African-American male, approximately 25-30 years old. No arrests were made, no motives have been detected, and neither the suspect nor the victim were injured.

The SFPD have not released any additional information.
