This suspect was taken in for questioning regarding Latrell Shaw murder

SAN FRANCISCO—The San Francisco Police Department has arrested several suspects in connection to the shooting death of Latrell Shaw.

According to a press release from the SFPD website, the Homicide Detail apprehended Fotu Paopao Jr., 19, and juvenile on September 19. The victim and another individual were shot on the unit block of Nichols Way just before midnight on September 5. Shaw was attending a neighborhood barbeque near the City’s Bayview-Hunters point neighborhood.

Shaw was transported to San Francisco General Hospital where he later died. The other victim was treated and released. Paopao was booked at the San Francisco County Jail on one count of murder. His juvenile accomplice was booked for one count of murder at the juvenile Justice Center.

On September 22, police arrested Maselusi Falesoga, 19, a third suspect in the shooting. He was taken into custody by undercover cops from the Bayview Station on a homicide warrant. Falesoga was booked on one count of murder.

Authorities are still investigating the case. Anyone with information on the homicide is still asked to contact San Francisco Police anonymously at 415-575-4444 or text-a-tip to TIP411 with SFPD at the start of the message.
